1) When Talking Out Of Character
When talking Out Of Character, PLEASE use brackets. Brackets include the following:
{ }, [ ], and ( )'s. It is understandable that some may forget, and we won't ban you if you forget sometimes and we'll tell you when you forgot, but if you ignore our warnings, or just do it constantly, you will either get banned (only if it's exsessive and ignorance of warning) or demoted (only to memebers and above.)

2) Flooding
Do not use thumbnails to show characters there. You CAN show pics of characters through links. BUT DO NOT FLOOD WITH THEM!!! Only one picture per character is enough, unless they have 2 forms. (such as human and animal form). And do not repeated post the same thing over and over unless someone asks you too because sometimes there's a glitch where the italics make the post unseen, and when you DO repost, please have the following after it:

3) Links
Do not give links to other chatrooms on Deviantart just to promote it. You can easily promote your room by noting memebers, posting a link to it in your journal, or making a place, such as this, to help people find it. Our room is not for advertisment. This is your only warning! Disregard to this rule is immidiate banning. Any other links are ok.

4) Introducing Yourself
When Role Playing (RPing) and you are introducing a character...do NOT do it in brackets. It makes it harder to start to RP, and it's simply annoying. The best way to describe your character while RPing, is to do somthing like the following example:

(random name) Bob walks into the alleyway, his red hair shimmering in the sunlight. He stood about 5 feet tall, and his brown eyes squinted from the bright son. His black cloak dragged behind him, as he held a book in his right hand, his black fingernails curled around the edge. blah blah blah, ect. ect.

5) Banning
If you become banned, DO NOT TRY COMING BACK UNDER ANOTHER SCREEN NAME!!! This will result in a permanent banning. We WILL find out eventually. We haven't been here a week and already had one do this. Those who are banned can note either , or and find out why. If you feel it was unfair, take the time to explain to us why you think so, and we may lift the ban. If you note either of us, cursing us out, threatening us, you will not only be banned, but your account will be reported.

6) Rankings
This room is really rather easy to become a member of, and being a member is a privalage that could maybe get you to an operator. You will immidiatly become a member if you do not break any of these rules in the first hour of RPing. ~Veranda is on most of the time, so she'll most likely be the one to promote you. But there will always be only 3 Owners, ~Veranda, ~YHTNIF and ~Wolfs-Of-Frost no more, no less.

7) Owners
DO NOT PISS US OFF!!! That can be the worst thing you ever do, most likely making it impossible to return. We are pretty easy going and will let you get away with a bit with a few warnings, but there is a point where enough is enough.

8) Joining The Role
DO NOT TRY AND FORCE YOUR CHARACTER INTO AN RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is something ~Veranda will yell at you for. It is the one thing that will piss us off faster than you can type "sorry". Try to play your way in. Do not go around asking "will you RP with me? Will you RP with me? " and DEFINETLY DO NOT DO SOMETHING ONE PERSON DID!!
They constantly said the following, trying to get a responce, and kept repostiing to the point of banning:
*coughs up a strawberry* anybody want it?

It's not funny, it's not cool and it's childish. This is a serious RP. Yes, we will joke around occasionally makeing up random characters that only last for a few moments, but we do not like that type of stuff. But things are going on, things will happen, and you won't always get a responce. Just be patient. When I ( ~Veranda) first started, I had a hard time getting people to respond, until I realize that I could become a part of the situations at hand. It will not always work but is a good way to start.

9) Language
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, do not take the name in vain. I don't know about but I can handle any word in the human language except that one. If you feel your character must say that, EDIT IT BY USING *'s. I will Bite your head off for this word. I know it sounds odd, but I just don't like that word. Another way to say it if You MUST say it, is just abbriviate (sp?) it. The abbriviation is GD.

10) CopyRighting
I think the best way to copyright your character is to draw it and submit it, or post the description and such to the above link!!! I will most likely be making a new Journal entry for each person who has posted here with a link to their comment. But if anyone is found stealing another person's character, the appropriate actions will be taken. This goes far beyond just chatroom banning, this could also result in having to report you.

11) Have Fun
Finally, try to relax. These rules are not easy to break if you just relax and just flow with what's going on. I would recommend on having more than one character, incase the person your character is converting with doesn't show up that day, you will have somthing to do. Please do not take offense if a character insults your character. It may just be how that character's mind is and how it's meant to be.



That's all the rules. Here is the setting areas of the RP room:

It is a city of magic and mystery. The main buildings that are there for certain are appartments, hospital, park, and the bar. In the city is a lake that is not too far from the park. The city also sits next to a deep forrest, and in this forrest is a stream and many mysteries. The time period is frankly present day. No "in the future" things. You can make up buildings as long as they're not out of the ordinary. Examples of out of the ordinary buildings are:
Bomb Shell Building
The Place where no one can touch me
The bar/hospital/ect.

Also, keep in mind, that characters can die. The only one that can't die is ~Veranda's character, Veranda. Do not try to over power her, if you decide for your character to duel her, be ready to lose. But the rest of her characters are able to die.

Anything can really happen in the city, and battles and wars are always fun, but having a peaceful time is also.

Do not ask to be a member here or on the chat room. It only floods and takes up space. This journal is very important and could be updated anytime, so we suggest that if you would like to be updated, that you will add us to your watch list. We may even post some art here that you supply us with of scenes from the rp. Just note it to with a link. And it must be YOUR OWN WORK!! If we have a problem with submitting it, we'll note you to send it to an email address in a compressed file.
